DevOps Lead
About The Position
At GeoEdge, we protect the digital world—processing over 3 billion events daily to block malicious ads in real time.
As our DevOps Lead, you’ll take full ownership of infrastructure, production, and operations, and lead the DevOps domain with high influence and impact across the company.
You’ll design, implement, and scale our cloud-native AWS environment, ensuring performance, security, and reliability. From big data pipelines and serverless architecture to Kubernetes orchestration and CI/CD automation, you’ll work with a cutting-edge stack powering critical systems at global scale.
Your work will directly shape how GeoEdge builds, ships, and secures products—driving technical excellence and supporting a mission that truly matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for microservices deployment
- Architect and operate data pipeline solutions utilizing Redshift, Athena, and S3
- Implement robust observability solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Support CI/CD workflows with Jenkins and ArgoCD
- Optimize AWS resource utilization for performance and cost
- Provide technical guidance to development teams on cloud best practices
- Monitor serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Step Functions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles
- Strong experience with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, Step Functions)
- Expertise in Kubernetes administration and deployment strategies
- Experience with data warehouse technologies (Redshift, Athena, PostgreSQL, S3)
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Strong scripting abilities in Bash and Linux system administration
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD)
- Demonstrated experience with monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have
- Experience with AWS CDK or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with Python or other programming languages
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Exposure to machine learning infrastructure
- Experience with blue/green deployment strategies
- Contributions to open-source projects
