Head of Sales
About The Position
We are looking for a passionate Head of Sales with proven tactical ability who can mix strategy and execution to drive business. GeoEdge is a leading cybersecurity company providing ad security and quality solutions to the digital advertising industry. We are seeking a resourceful salesperson with a deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem and a passion for emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships with platforms, SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, publishers etc.
As a trusted advisor, you are an authentic collaborator, strong leader and proactive, problem solver with experience exceeding revenue targets. As Head of Sales, you will have a unique opportunity to influence the company’s direction, cement our position as the foremost ad security partner and ‘own’ a set of high-value client relationships.

What you’ll be doing:
- Lead a complex, technical sales cycle, end to end – from initial pitch through contract negotiation and deal closing
- Serve as a strategic partner and advisor and cultivate strong relationships with senior client stakeholders to develop client-specific value propositions, positioning GeoEdge as a strategic/preferred partner in the region.
- Actively identify and pursue new client partnerships.
- Ensure sales pipeline and activity are maintained and provide timely management / Salesforce reporting as required.
- Show accountability/ownership through every stage of client business: prospecting, presenting, negotiating, must have a real knack for customer service.
- The ability to create deep partnerships based on value
- Ability to analyze and articulate information with the product team
- Attend industry events and follow-up with leads generated in a timely fashion
- Successfully and positively represent the GeoEdge at relevant industry events.
Requirements
- 9+ years of advertising experience at SSP, Exchange, DMP, platform or other AdTech firm
- Currently, work in a senior-level sales role within an AdTech focused business
- Senior-level contacts within the market, either publishers or platforms
- Clear and proven track record of winning new client logos.
- Experience managing or selling solutions in advertising technology, data, or other solutions related to digital advertising.
- Strong executive presence and comfortable presenting to clients of all levels
- Have excellent negotiation skills to ensure maximum revenue from a client
- A consultative, partnership-minded sales approach
- Show an aptitude to learn in a fast-moving digital and security space with complex products.
- Be prepared to put the time in and be happy working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Relish seeing time and focus convert to sales and revenue
- Rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and a positive can-do approach.
- Bachelors or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
